About
Queering the Pitch (QtP) were mini-festivals which ran in Manchester, London and Brighton to promote and publicise great bands, artists and entertainers.
“Most are queer. But that’s not what’s remarkable, it’s their talent that is. We believe in being visible because we’re proud of who we are. But we refuse to let it define what we do.” Craig, QtP founder
Legacy
QtP ran between 2007 & 2008 and gave artists a platform to perform their material in their way to audiences that were on their side. The musical styles presented were as diverse as the performers themselves. Some of the artists continue to make music to this day, others do not. But QtP played a proud part in their stories, no matter how small.
